Bodyworks Physiotherapy is a locally owned and operated clinic located in Busselton, servicing Busselton and surrounding areas since 1998. We have four highly qualified physiotherapists who are all committed to getting the best results possible for their clients. You do not need a referral from your doctor to see us, but we do accept referrals from doctors for DVA (Department of Veterans' Affairs) clients, Workers Compensation clients, National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) clients, Motor Vehicle Accident clients and private clients. We also see clients who have an enhanced primary care plan from their GP (not everyone is eligible for this). Physiotherapists are tertiary educated primary contact practitioners using evidence based treatment. All the physiotherapists at Bodyworks are very experienced and will do their utmost to help you achieve your health goals.
Physiotherapy is a "hands on" complete system of treatment for physical and neurological injury/dysfunction, and is used to help the recovery and rehabilitation from injuries. Treatment is usually gentle and very safe. Physiotherapists will first do a full in depth assessment of your condition or injury to come to a diagnosis or problem list to be addressed. This will include a history, your general medical health, testing of range of motion, strength, neurology, function, cardio respiratory function and palpation of the affected area as well as any imaging that is warranted. Treatment can then be tailor made to your particular injury/condition and circumstances.
